Valentine’s Day isn’t a big deal at our house. We have a March wedding anniversary and a two year-old son, so we tend to hold off on big V-Day plans. My husband will actually be working a closing shift (until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning), so our plan is to have a festive, family brunch.
I have a sneaking suspicion that most of you celebrate Valentine’s Day similarly... but this is after all a day to Show Some Love!
We feel very strongly about the work we do at Rooted ID… Good thing, because as you know, it takes serious passion to keep a small business going. We’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to do what we love, and our jobs are made even more special because we get to help others do what they love as well.
Like us, you probably have a network of support—a spouse taking care of things at home so that you can pursue a dream, friends that cheer you on, clients that make what you do possible, staff that feels like family or maybe a family member acting as staff that you cannot yet afford. On this, the day to Show Some Love, we want to say THANK YOU! You may not have flowers on your desk or a hot date planned, but you are none-the-less appreciated.
We’d like to encourage you to Show Some Love as well! Please take a moment to share a message of appreciation to those who make what you do possible.
