Even those who aren't in the world of marketing know the old adage that "sex sells". Obviously, the marketers over at Joe Boxer got the memo and designed a television commercial around the very premise for this year's holiday season.
We don't know how many boxers that they have sold for their efforts, but we do know that they have successfully created a lot of publicity for themselves. Whether a person's reaction is positive or negative, people are most definitely talking about Joe Boxer this Christmas! And, I am sure that there will be a few people doing their last minute shopping that say, "What would be a good stocking stuffer? I know... how about a pair of Joe Boxers?" Top of mind... that's what it's all about in marketing.
In case you are curious what the heck I am talking about, take a look at the commercial below which both Joe Boxer and Kmart are taking a lot of heat for.
